Directions - MIX
#1
This mix was made using Studio One Prime and the AKG k240 monitor.
As beginner I would appreciate if you let me know your opinion.
This is just the mix, so maybe it is a little low in volume.

Esta mezcla la hice con Studio One Prime y el monitor AKG k240.
Le agradecería que me hiciera saber su opinión.
Esta es sólo la mezcla, así que quizás es un poco bajo en volumen.

Overall it feels pretty good. My initial reaction is that the vocal seems 'behind' the guitar. Especially in the beginning. When the whole band comes in it evens out but when it's just the guitar and vocal the guitar seems in front. It also could have a little more of the lows cut out of it.

It is a little dry. That's ok. It doesn't need much but if you took another pass at it consider concentrating on a little more reverb and space. I can hear the reverb and it's subtle and that's fine but I think it could use a little more to tie all the instruments together.

The panning all works and makes sense and plays off each other.

In the end everything feels fine. It's a compact song. If that makes sense. The overall volume doesn't really matter. This isn't a song that needs to really 'rock'. It's a safe mix but it works for the song.

Hope that helps.

Good job.
