Interesting view of the song !
Just a question... did you intentionnaly cut the intro ? sounds nice like this too ! straight into the song.

Thanx man, did u like it? It´s really different from your vision.. Smile

Yes, It´s intentionally done. I like that it´s "BAM! And were off" Smile

Actually I had the room mics way down. Created a Drum bus that I named "Drum Crush", fitting... Smile And smashed the kit to pieces and blended it with the original drums. I used Waves H-Comp, perfect for crushing stuff.. Smile

I mixed this one on the SSL, it just comes pre installed with a lot of depth.. Smile

If you listen closely, I used a mono delay for the vocals. And since the vocals are so up front you get the perception of a "cave entrance". It´s wide upfront and gets more and more narrow with every feedback. Cool trick to use.

Yes, this is very good. A little more compression than I have a taste for but whatever, it sounds good.
Vocals are awesome. I still can't get the hang of dual vocals on the same track EQ-wise.
Guitar sounds awesome.
Backups are present but nice and subdued.
I like the skipped intro a lot better but definitely not a call the mixing engineer would be making.
The subtle mono delay is nice in the vocals.

My mix will be up shortly.
