Also wondering do you use analog or just in the box? And what is your monitoring system. Thanks Again

I have improved my mixing since joining this site and listening to how your mixes have a natural open sound. Thanks and great job

I mix in the box using reaper and as many awesome and free plugins as possible ,
usually use the free ferric tds tape simulator ans ferrox (JB) tape simulator and TDR nova multiband compressor for eq on most tracks.
Waves NLS analog desk simulator.
Waves CLA76
Waves 2A and 3A compressors some times all together.

Master Bus .

Waves NLs Channel
Waves SSL bus compressor
Puigtech
Maserati Group

Mixed this track using KRK rockitt 6 G2 which are a good full range monitors and have a great stereo image and double checked on Old pre 80's auratones ,Yamaha Ns10's with KRK 10's Sub which sounds amazing .
HD600's with NX which is awesome for late night mixing.

The main problem i think I'm having is not sticking to one set of monitors or headphones and it gets confusing.

Cheers Big Grin

Great setup! I'm usuing the avantone one in mono. Had the new 5c with alesis ra150 amp sold em. I have a hybrid setup used my old ssl superanalouge strip going into an portico 5042 tape emulator. In the box i use the tdr slick eq, and equillibrium eq...ua la2a sometimes on mix bus puigtec meq-5 and ua studder 800 going into my mastering chain...i also have amphion one 15's which im still wrapping my head around..trying out a 2 sub setup with them. Thinking about going back to ns10's though. I believe CLA uses them with a yamaha sub also

ssl superanalouge strip great piece of gear.
The problem with ns10's is spare parts are getting rare i have already recently replaced 2 tweeters at $200 each and the capacitors in the cross overs
I saw the amphion 15's in the music shop but didn't have a listen ,I fell in love with the ATC scm25 pro's lol Big Grin

I love The old auratones they have a great transient response and sounds very similar to the ns10's in the upper frequencies.
