Dark Ride: 'Hammer Down' kapu mix

Am I the only one who hears some clipping in this version? I'm listening on a pair of JBL LSR305's and there is definitely some clipping going on. When you are mixing, mix to around -10 dB, and gain it up in the mastering state, in protools you can use the Maxim plugin (It's free!!!), with Threshold sat at -6 dB and the Ceiling at -0.1 dB. Also a tiny bit of compression before you hit the mastering plugin is a good idea, you just need to see a tiny bit of gain reduction.

Other than that, I think there is a good balance in your mix, and everything is clear.

If remember correctly, I used limiter on the master with clipping mode, which is a somewhat common practice in the genre. I usually leave 0.3 dBs for encoder. ^_^
