Hello everyone! I am new here to the forums.
I am an aspiring artist/producer from the Nashville, Tennessee area. I attend Middle Tennessee State University and I am an Audio Production major. I am taking a Mixing course this semester and I had the opportunity to choose whatever song I liked and mix it to my best abilities as an assignment.
I have been mixing Hip-Hop exclusively for about 6 years now and I don't have much experience with live recorded instruments so this song was big challenge for me. Nevertheless, I decided to put my skills to the test and mix this song. I don't consider this track my final mix since I didn't have the chance to sleep on the song and come back to it like I wanted but I'm still pretty happy with how it came out. Anyways, please give your feedback on this song and let me know how I did!
