Fire
For this mix I tried to match the preview. My biggest miss starts around 1:45 where the preview adds some synth pitch bending. I didn’t find that track in the download and didn’t try to make one. I tuned every vocal to some extent and edited to match the preview. I thought 59 tracks made this project fairly challenging to start with but I ended up multing a few & made it even worse! Color coding and track groups helped manage it a bit.

Thanks Don! Where do you hear the rattle? I hear a high-pitched (8K maybe?) noise during the choruses (0:33-0:54 and 1:24-1:45). It seemed related to the vocals but I couldn't figure it out. Thanks again.

RE: Fire
What a strange song. Is that polyrythm on purpose?

The mix sounds good, but man, that polyrhythm is distracting me.

Thanks Artbass. Is the polyrhythm you mention the deep toms with lots of reverb in the opening? If so, it was on the preview and I think they intended it that way. I made a tempo map and they stuck very close to 93 BPM in 4/4 time. They must have played with a click. They don't mention polyrhythms but they do mention how they got the really deep sound in one of the videos about the recording session.
