You Just Can't Mess Up These Tracks!
#1
Honestly the band plays great, the tracks are easy to mix - what could possibly go wrong?

I thoroughly enjoyed mixing this on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It was great to happen upon some "live" tracks as opposed to studio tracks like you usually find online. Went through many a revision back and forth with some coworkers about my snare. They'll still insist my snare is too bright, but it's fine. Sound comes out either way!

Best listened to at 90 dB A. Just because it's that kind of song!

I don't think the snare is too bright at all. You brought out a nice, woody, crack.

I wouldn't say it's too bright at all. Id even add more to the very top end, around 10khz. Sounds very tight, but maybe just a little too loud in the track. And I would of put the lead vocals up just a little too.

Mix sounds very smooth though, really good. I enjoy the background vocals, you got them sounding pretty clean, even with the amount of bleed that they all had.

bruh, how did you get the snare to sound like that? (ie. compressor and settings?)
