Death Of A Romantic: 'The Well'
#1
Here Is version 1 of this awesome Band !
Used all original tracks and no re-amping of guitars and bass yet.
Needs more work and any feedback would be a great help.

Crank up the volume and play loud Big Grin

Cheers Big Grin

Thought I would try something way out of my comfort zone but found this great song quite soothing and relaxing right after mixing a stress full jazz track Confused.
I haven't a clue what I'm doing with this genre and used my Daughters latest Cd of a great band I saw Live back in 2006 Called Parkway Drive as a reference.
Used all original tracks and no re-amping of guitars and bass yet.
Needs more work and any feedback would be a great help.

Snare needs more punch guitars more lower mid presence and bass more upper mid presence other than that its good! That's just my interpretation of how the song should sound

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for having a listen.
I flipped the phase on the snare and bingo more punch but have to spend a lot more time on the drums, I spent way too much time playing around with the bass and mainly the guitars as have some resonant frequencies in the lower frequencies which I don't know enough yet how to tackle it also the DI raw guitars have the same challenge which I need some advice to fix ,as re amping for me only exaggerates these resonant frequencies.
Hopefully version 2 sounds just a touch fuller !

Cheers Big Grin

i like it (though i'm not very familiar with this kind of music). the toms could be more present and guitars are maybe a bit mid-sounding but i like it!

Yes I should have added samples to the tom's and work on the guitars.
