One mix more.
Really hard to make it sound in your face and also dynamic. Can't have both so I think my mix falls to that everything louder trap. Probably real mastering engineer could do better job than me with just the master limiter.

but overall the balance dont sound too bad

Thank you for you feedback.
I made a new version where kick and bass are a little bit lower and lead voc a little bit up.
Now there is also a master eq with low shelving filter taking a db and a hpf.

I think you are right in your assessment of too much bus compression/limiting. It's causing quite a bit of distortion. You should post a track without so much for comparison.

It is true that I had pretty hard settings for a master limiter.
I made a new version with the limiter gain dropped 3 dB. Now it doesn't hit the limiter constantly.

Your music level sounds great !

I think your mix may need the main and backing vocals volume increased as sound very soft to my ears !
