jspace24 Tulsa Mix
#1
Hi,

This is only the second mix I have attempted, so any feedback or criticisms are welcome.

On a side note, I thought this song was a blast to mix. I loved the warm, organic sounds, the room sounds were great, and the song itself has a really cool vibe. Thanks for listening.

Very nice. The overall sound of this mix seems to really match the song well.
To mix or not to mix ... mix!

Nice mix, i would suggest to make the snare little brighter and get rid some mud in there from instruments, overall very good!

The piano is a bit too muddy for my tastes. When it comes in the first time, it should feel bigger.

I would also mix the lead guitar louder. I dig how you chose the room sound of the amp, but I would put it bigger in the mix.

Also, there are so many cool parts that the different instruments play at different times. Identify those and highlight them when the vocals aren't in.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Here's my second go at it. I tried to make it a little less muddy, brightened up the piano, and really pushed the guitar solo up front. Again, feedback is welcome. Thanks!
