Pretty good mix here. I get the feeling there's real people playing this stuff. I kind like how you let guitar own the mix more than I did. I really like the roundness of your snare and kick. Any tips?
Makes me feel like a good night out, seeing a good band. Chorus sounds really good, nice and smooth.

Hey mate, glad you liked my mix! In terms of drums, you should always free them up very particularly from every resonance you can find; this makes them more punchier and less dull. Further with an eq on a snare, damp around 700-1200Hz und boost around 3000-6000Hz. On the kick, damp around 500-900Hz and boost around 2000-6000Hz. Then compress them with a ratio of 3-4, an attack of 30-60 and a release of 70-150; gain reduction should be at 8db maximum. Als this depends on the individual drums, of course!
