Interesting Attachment Graham,

Looking at all that red in my mix, I find that quite alarming. I may have over done itUndecided

Although I'm not completely sure what it all means. When it comes to loudness and metering in this area, I'm pretty ignorant. Maybe it's time to research the subject and get up to speed.

Thanks for sharing this,

Dave

Hi Dave, I really didn't mean to alarm you! I was just playing with my newest toy (Ian Shepherd's Dynameter). From what I've picked up in Ian's excellent Mastering Show podcasts, the dynamic range and loudness of your mix is totally acceptable (although at the top end of what he'd consider acceptable, but then he's a big Bob Katz fan) for a modern mix/master. There are much less pleasant colours after red on his Dynameter, believe me!

All the best (and good luck in the contest!), Graham.
