3 HR Mix

Made a quick 3hr mix of this song. This is mostly my gut working so my strengths and weaknesses are in full display here for you guys to comment on! Hopefully we get a meaningful discussion going here!

Some thoughts from me.

The higher frequencies are completely gone after the intro, even though it's better to have it the other way around. This might have happened because you mastered the second part and then just added the intro without any plugins in front. I'd suggest to master both parts at the same time. Yes, the first part will sound more edited, but it's the overall mastering sound that counts.

The gain staging seems to be good, which means the balance is good. But the band part it is compressed so heavily and because you cut the higher frequencies, it sounds muffled and indirect. I can't tell anything else about this mix. What did you put over the whole track EQ-wise?
