Let me know what you guys and gals think. I downloaded this without listening to the original in order to have an interesting comparison afterwards.

interesting mix. a few observations

1. very bold use of snare. I'm find myself liking it at the start of the track ... but then by the end of the song I feel fatigued by it
2. I'm getting quite a lot of bass boom from sides of mix....not sure if its bass or kick bleed from acoustic guitar track
3. guitar solo seems very low compared with violin solo

Thanks for that input. These were things that I also noticed after I got out of my mix area and started listening in other people rooms.
