BMSM - "Contraband" - My mix

Hi! This is my first mix on this page.

Please tell me what you think of this! It's my first mix uploaded ever, so be nice haha. I'm a trumpet player myself, so I tried to make the best sounding horn section possible.

Everything is mixed on Garageband (planning to upgrade to pro tools). I used some free downloaded plugins such as Headcrusher free (by Audio Assault) Stereotool (by Flux), Molot and Limiter no6.

churruperas, thanks for commenting on my mix. Did it a long time ago and your observations were spot on. As I said, I need to redo my mix.

I think your mix is very good. My only critiques would be that it is a bit too dry and drums are uneven, meaning, the toms are too loud in relation to, say, the snare. The horns are very up front and can use some "space" via reverb or some delay, etc. I really liked it though. You nailed the bass.....sounds awesome. GREAT BASS SOUND!! For a first time on here.....congrats!!!! Tom
