Once More (mixed by Rhythm Power studio)
#1
This is a great track! I loved every minute working on it.
Let's get technical.
The recording is spot on! Kudos to the sound engineer and the band!
DRUMS: I kept them as they are. Replaced nothing as they had a great vintage sound which is suitable for this genre.
BASS: I kept the recorded tone which is also 100% appropriate.
GUITARS: LOVED the sound of the electrics! They reminded me of the album "Deep Purple" by Deep Purple (back in 1969). Actually the whole track and its sound reminded me of that record. Fantastic tones! The acoustic guitars were also pretty good.
SYNTHS/ORGANS/PIANO: very nice recordings and tones, too.
VOCALS: Great voice and performance by the lead singer. The only problem was on his backings. His voice was clearly fatigued when he recorded his backings. There is a certain tremor in his "Ah's" and "Oh's" and also some tuning was necessary at some points. I suppose they had time/money issues and had to rush through the process. It can happen to anyone. Thankfully, thanks to the female back vocals and the whole music playing, there tremors are not audible in the mix.

Overall: Everything was great in this track. From music/orchestration to the last recording detail. Except for the backing vocals thing, which was no big deal really.
