Quite nice track. Had a little trouble mixing it due to the 4 rhythm guitars which were a little tough to get them to be distinguished and, at the same time, not all over the place. But I handled it well at the end. Now some talk about the tracks and how I handled them.
DRUMS: I triggered the kick and snare and sampled them through EZDrummer 2.
I found the overheads to be a little poorly recorded. Snare too much on the right and too loud for overheads. I don't know what the positioning of the mics were.
Also, the playing of the drummer was a little unconsistent on the cymbals and on the snare.
BASS: Nice recorded tone but I ended up using the DI signal through Amplitube 3.
2 channels: 1 regular and 1 distorted.
GUITARS: Used the DI signals for all guitars and drove them through Amplitube 3 (5150 and MESA amps) and various impulses.
VOCALS: Nice recording. However there were some editing (maybe) clicks here and there.
SYNTHS: Nice ones, although had to cut a lot in the eq section so that they sit subtle in the mix.
