every time i mix, it reminds me that it's hard to get it right.
but it's also fun to do it.

How do you define 'right'? Especially for this recording?

of course there might not be just one definite version of any mix,
but i mean, when you're mixing, you'll try to get it right
for what you think or feel the sound of that music has to be, you know?
like, just about the right balance between instruments,
or balance of frequency or of dynamic range.

by the way i didn't mean i've got it right.
i've meant it's always hard to actually do it,
than you might have thought, when you just listened to the finished work.

and to answer the question about what can be said as right for this song,
well, i wanted it to sound natural, balanced, everything works together,
and tried to give some depth.
though, i wish i've have done it so much better than this.

That was more of a rhetorical question but you've done just right by me.

Hi coldvodka! I like your balance, all sounds natural.

I'm just thinking, it is a live performance so in my opinion it needs to sound bigger with a bit more of reverb on the voice. But what I mainly heard was that voice may need to be brighter, just that.

Love the balance!Smile
