Bannockburn Mixed by DCP
#11
I noticed the rhythm guitars were being dominated by the drums in the last upload so I made some slight tweaks.

The kick and snare are automated now to help them not poke out as much in the mix. The snare has a Transient Designer on it boosting the sustain and cutting some attack. I also used a Waves C1 compressor to even it out alittle more. The kick got a low end bump at 66 Hz and a small cut at 4.5 kHz to focus it more.

The rhythm guitars got some light eq and tone tweaks. I also added a pitch shifted guitar up the center to act as a bridge between the guitar and bass and fill out the low mids of the mix.

Mixing is way more art and soul than science. We don’t really know what we’re doing. We do it because we love music! It’s the love of music first. Eddie Kramer
