Our Love Is Here To Stay Dangerous
#1
Tried to keep this one quite soft focusing on the singing performance standing out front. Spent most of the time with this mix trying to get the reverb and ambience sounding the way I wanted.
Another great contribution from Spektakulatius complete with a beautiful vocal performance. We are so Lucky!

Dave.

Beautiful sounding mix Dave enjoyed listening !
Being really critical or I'm going even more crazy lol,the vocals sound a touch full by only 1or 2 db max around the 200hz area on my monitors more noticeable on some words ,maybe due to the vocalist moving a touch closer to the mic ? which i can also hear on my mix and others, but can be easily be sorted with a little eq or multiband compression.

Great Job Big Grin

Thanks Don, I reckon your right with the vox, my monitoring accuracy is fairly poor in this region, but I did notice it a bit when I took the mix into the lounge for a listen.

Thanks again.

In some way its a real crime to make something out of the stems peeeuwww.

much cleaning, but especially much thinking ... And thinking hurts hahahaha

Solved the problem in my mix, I will explain it in the reply.

Hey Dave!

Just listened to your mix in the cans and really enjoyed it, a lot of really great mix's of this song. I like the vocal, very prominent and smooth. Sax is really fat, love it.

Cheers!
