Truth is I don't know what the fuck I'm doing with this track !!
I've picked it up in 2015 I believe, mixed it, moved on, mixed other tracks in other genres to a certain degree of success, came back to this track, mixed it again and again, moved on, etc...
I can't seem to figure out the key to mixing this particular track. Not to a point where I'm satisfied anyway !
What bothers me most is that I like this track, I am a hip-hop producer myself and I just don't get why it won't work ! But to be honest I haven't heard any mix that I thought did it justice.
Still working on a new mix but I feel I am close to giving up !
As for mastering, this not mastered in any way !
I just like to slap a limiter at the end of my mix before I bounce...
