I had dancing in the pit in mind.
Drums: Replaced snare/kick/toms with EZdrummer2 Basic Metal Yamaha 9000 w/ Sonor snare, not real happy with the snare in places. Parallel compression pushed up to taste. Room mic and overheads were a problem with blending the snare. aggressive EQ.
Bass: Loved the bass, gave it some EQ and comp. Parallel compressed with a little saturation knob distortion added in.
Guitars: Guitar Rig4 the freeby, variations of the Gratifier amp with different EQ. Parallel compressed. Hard left/right, I put the 3rd guitar L60, it seemed to widen them up a little and made some space for the vocal.
Vocal: got rid of some of the breaths and hard T's and S's. comp/EQ. Parallel comp. Small amount of room reverb. A little EQ and reverb on the gangs.
Plugins: Slate VMR, VCC, VBC, VTM. Mastered in Studio One2 Pro with Slate FG-X and other slate stuff.
Over all I just wanted it to beat you in the face
