Sometimes letting the natural "feel" control a mix and not approach with too much technicality as a starter fields better results. I like to think about mixers who used to load up tape machines and mix many of the great records before DAWs. There was no digital tricks so on a tune like this I like to attempt a traditional "load up the reel" angle. This song was a great exercise for me to focus on "feel". There was one dub made with the flute.. as a mixer, I believe if there's a piece missing, fix it.
