So... Might this be my contribution to the forums this year? 
This is the 1st mix I made for this song. I made another one too with different drums, but after a while decided that this was better.
All VST's used were freeware on this one.
Voxengo Boogex for everything else than the drums, growled / distorted vocals, synth and strings.
EQ and compressor on bass drum, snare and toms.
Synth and strings are "natural", didn't touch them other than the levels.
The "thing" with this mix is the use of Fender Tweed VST with the drums and the growled vocals.
As I didn't like the initial sound of the growled vocals in the first place, I wanted somehow to push them back without too much volume loss and came up with that.

I don't have the original project file anymore, so there won't be another version of this song.
