Believe - HB Mix
#1
Only realised this was for a competition yesterday - and with less than 24hrs before the deadline decided to give it a bash. Assuming comp closes at midnight LA time, will scrape in by an hour or so........Now to figure out SoundCloud !

Pretty happy in the end but no real time to reflect and finesse. Will dive back in and review some mixes once my ears have cooled downBig Grin

Considering the amount of issues contained in the original tracks, think you've done a great job, couldn't pick any faults though does get a little hard on the ear towards the end, prob the crappy overheads are the main culprit, but like I mentioned on thedon's mix, there's a lot going on in that frequency to begin with, pretty difficult to do much about it. But still, really good mix.

Hey manuke - thanks for that.

yeah....OH's were pretty hard to manage....kinda wanted them for "Epicness" towards the end but agreed, the timbre of the smashes gets pretty brittle. Ended up using dynamic EQ to control worst of it but still tricky for sure

Hey don...thanks for that. I wish I had a bit more time to cross reference before I posted. Some parts kinda grate on me now.....but then again...getting it done and out the door works too.....forces decision making
