Hello friends, I just discovered this page yesterday and is awesome to practice mixing techniques.

I just finished mixing down the song Left Blind by Hollow Ground so have a listen and let me know what you think.

I love this tune! Really cool mix dude, nice a meaty. What did you use to get the guitars sounding like that. It's something I'm trying to get right at the moment, getting a great guitar sound for all styles.
The mix to me sounds great.
What daw do you use? Also how did you get the kick to sound so punchy?

Hi There, I user Reaper as DAW, for the guitars I am using Positive Grid´s BIAS Desktop, Mark III & 5153 presets with some tweaking.

I´ve replaced the Kick with Ezdrummer Metal!´s "Fat Kick" sample.
