cool trick you could try on your vocals, add a little distortion to the vocals you have now take out just a little of the high ends with a shelf eq to taste. lower the volume, the width sounds good, then duplicate the original lead vocal,treat it with some normal eq and compression to taste and keep it dead center, and keep that track as the loud vocal track, buss both to a stereo track @ -100 and 100 and add a little more compression. itll sound centered and more pronounced, and still keep the width. yeah, your snares awesome. computer speakers suck, nothing wrong with them sennheiser headphones. just my opinion, thats what i mix with. but im no expert so take it with a grain of salt. and i really appreciate your input on my mix, other peoples ears have helped me out a lot.
