Just a very quick mix of this song to test my instincts.
Found it hard to add life to the drums during the beginning of the solo. They become huge during the solo and for the rest of the song, but I struggled for ideas on how to work with that beginning.
The vocals sound like they were recorded with the singer incredibly close to the mic. Didn't really know how to get rid of that popping problem from him almost spitting into the mic.
Other than that I really enjoyed working the song. Adding some dirt to the keys really gave depth to the mix. Feels big even though there are minimal stems.
Any comments and tips are hugely appreciated
