This mix needs more seperation, especially in the low end. E.g. there are parts where I don't really hear the kick - it needs a bit more 2khz or 4-5khz. You also need to check the balance between kick and bass. There is a great video from joey sturgis with some tips here:

But don't mindlessly hihpass anything - use your ears. Don't cut away the meat of the guitars and make them too thin. Just like Joey said: "You have to be careful. Use your ears, Don't just put the numbers in and expect it to be perfect. You need to make sure that you are not taking away something from the guitars that's intended to be there".

Sometimes a low shelf is better then a highpass filter because you need some lowend in certain passages.

Balance and panning is good.

Just a followup question. If i get the lead guitar stronger and possibly the rhythm weaker, wouldn't that make the mix lean towards the right side? Or is it just me overthinking haha? :)
Or maybe you're referring to the solo when you say lead guitars? Sorry i'm a little confused..

No, sorry for my comment being confusing.. Listening to your mix again I am now confused. I hear the leads (solo parts) loud now.. actually I hear them a bit louder than I would expect them to be.
Did you fix things and re uploaded the mix and deleted the old one?

Probably I gave you a really bad reference or I was simply mistaking the "rhythm" guitars with the "lead"??? I'm no longer sure.

Listening to your mix now is good to where the solo kicks in. I believe they are too loud. Lol
