Okay, here's my take on this one. First, a disclouser... I do not listen to hip-hop pretty much at all so I have only the vaguest idea of how to treat such mixes. It is also my habbit to never listen to anyone else's mix prior to working on a tune. (I don't want to replicate what someone else has done even unconsciously.) I also only listen to the posted samples when I'm selecting the tune and download several at a time. So this is basically me going into this tune blind.
Given that the instruments were all synth, I didn't have to do much to them other than LPF on a couple to get rid of an obvious DC offset on two or three tracks. I did a little polishing on the bass but since this one is very vocal heavy, that's where I spent the bulk of my time.
