You were right that there are too much hi frequencies (especialy in oh mics). I think that it is better to cut 1,7k-2kHz cause this is where the harshness and non pleasing sounds come from (too much and ears hurt, too little and gtrs sound fake and lifeless and vocal loses some intelegibility).
