I think you could also afford to take the guitars out wider into the sides. As it stands, it's quite a "mono" sounding mix. This will also open things up considerably and add some life.

Yep, I killed all the dynamics trying to glue the whole mess together with a bunch of compression. I've uploaded version 2 where I backed way off the compression and used a little more reverb on almost everything to give the track some life. I also took out some low end as it was a bit muddy. I haven't addressed the lack of width yet. That will be next in version 3
