On this site sometimes if a track is loud like in the case of the "CLA Mix" or even Till's official mix of Sleep By The Fire, certain members start complaining about how loud the mix is and how the person that uploaded said mix don't know what they're doing and are trying to fool other less experienced members on the site about how good it sounds. I'm just trying to prevent this from turning into a discussion on loudness and how damaging it is to music and our ears rather than about the music and mix.

Anyhow, thanks for the feedback Olli! The chorus on the acoustic guitar was an attempt to make it somewhat stereo and keep it more out of the way of the vocals and other mono sources in the mix and so I could push it up in the mix without it seeming too narrow. As of now it seems to have a weirs faux 12 string sound when it's just in the background and I'm probably going to can the effect or just turn the mix of the effect down.

Cheers,
Dcp
Mixing is way more art and soul than science. We don’t really know what we’re doing. We do it because we love music! It’s the love of music first. Eddie Kramer
