Thanks for your wonderful comment. I would tend to agree with you on the sparkle of the guitar being a bit too bright. I did like the sound of the strings up there so I went with it and it cuts better at lower listening levels. I did question that decision so your ears are spot on.
I am including another mix of this with some dynamic growth into the choruses as musically there was a lack of energy building to there which was apparent in the song but not so much in the first mix.
