The song does not need a lot of compression. The tendency to over-compress everything these days is horrible. I have never heard a song that sounded better when squashed to death.
Your mix has a nice dynamic range that suits the song very well. The bass is a bit too powerful, and I would like to hear the vocals and the background vocals separated some more. It's a littly muddy the way you mixed it.
