Brennon Causey Mixing - 'Dead EnemiesV2'

100% makes the track, once the vocals come in, the whole mix makes sense.

Having said that, I kinda wish the intro (lead + acoustics) gripped me the way the whole band + vocal did.
TBH - when I heard the intro, I didn't have any idea the band + vocal was going to rock as hard as it did.
If there were some way to bridge the "this sounds really good" feeling from the start of the track to the first verse, that'd make it awesome for me.

I'm not sure exactly what would make it "work" - maybe a bit of EQ + compression on the acoustic guitars?
I'd also try some notching around ~2 kHz on the lead guitars (they sound a bit ear-gain-y, a bit shrill)?
Generally, my goal would be to flatten the spectrum out a little bit, and get those acoustic guitars participating a bit more in the intro.

Overall, good work!

Thank you for the kind reply! I made a second version and tried to address the things you mentioned
