I feel there is a build up of low mid frequencies in the center which is hampering the clarity of the mix.Could be due to the acoustic guitar.
Also the vocal gets a little crisp in parts like it has been high passed or boosted around 4k .( not in a good way ,the chorus for eg.). Doubling parts in the chorus is a good move generally but I cant say whether it suits the song.
P.S.:- These concerns are my personal opinions and you might not agree with them ,which I can understand(depends on different monitoring environments). Don't like to be too judge-mental but we are here for constructive criticism.
Well I don't have studio monitors, only HiFi speakers ProAc Response 1SC and AKG K-540 headphones, so I dont hear it on this setup
and the Chorus I make for fun, and to brake it up a bit.
