MIX NOTES
- Started with some big EQ moves on drum tracks: EQ (boosts+lo-cut) > Compression > EQ (band cuts)
- On Snare did extra compression and slight clipping to tame transient but also make it cut thru tighter
- On Drum Bus used Compression and boosted Low-shelf then went through Limiter to cut thru mix better
- On Bass same process as drum tracks to boost, comp, and cut, then also LA2A leveling
- On Guitar same process and also 1176 compressor at end. Sidechained EQ lower mids with Bass as trigger to let Bass thru in that region. Sent mono signal to stereo aux with Reel ADT for artificial double tracking
- On Vox did EQ shelving, some dynamic cuts in the mid range, de-essing, hi-shelf boost, compression, and then lo-cut. Send to 3 aux channels: Delay, parallel Compressor, and stereo Doubler
- On Vox and Drums used Ozone 11 Master Rebalance to better isolate Vox and Drums from mic bleed elements
