1st attempt I'm Alright

this is my mix of I'm Alright.

added compression to mix to make it sound more powerful and wide.

I never mixed this one so I don't know what you have to work with but here's what I noticed.

The balances are ok. I don't feel like anything is particularly off.

It does feel compressed but I think that holds it back. It doesn't feel particularly wide sides the one guitar on the right for most of the mix. I think another instrument balancing the mix on the left would balance out the L/R image more. The vocal is a little buried. This feels more like a pop song and needs the vocal to be louder and more of the focus. I suspect that the compression is holding it back.

In the intro the lead (nylon?) guitar could be louder.

I think that you need to look at it like a triangle. The vocal centered and up. The guitar on the right is ok. Move another guitar part to the left to match the vocal and right guitar. Other than that, tonally, it feels fine.
