Shore - ChrisLabbyAudio - 06-04-2015 had a lot of fun woth this, let me know what you think! I was going for more of a lo-fi sound. RE: Shore - loweche6 - 06-04-2015 I think your vox are too quiet in your first verse. Your overall tone is darker than what I would expect from (just going off of your lo-fi terminology) a hi-fi sound, and I like the bass sound, but maybe a touch too much 300 hz? Not by much, but i think it adds a little too much mud, even for a low fi mix. . . I like your balances and stereo image. I kind of would love to hear just a kiss of distortion either on his small room echo, or on his delay buss, but that's just something that popped in my head when you said lo-fi. I dig it, but I would love to see how lo-fi you could get it without screwing up the song. Just a little game. Overall, I like your mix. Cheers, Draper RE: Shore - ChrisLabbyAudio - 06-04-2015 Thanks man! This was my first attempt at something like this and the feedback really helps. I thought it was a little dark myself. I wasn't sure how to make it lo-fi but still make it have a punchy modern edge. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks again! |
