Another try - martist - 11-12-2012 Any comments are welcome... RE: Another try - uzilevi - 15-12-2012 its to bright. the song need some balance not to born your ears. sorry RE: Another try - Mike Senior - 19-02-2013 You've got a strong 3.5kHz peak in the lead vocal sound which feels over-aggressive in a softer acoustic number like this -- I put in a fairly narrow cut of around 3dB to bring it more to where I was hearing it. You might want to bring the overall vocal level up a little, though if you do this, because that EQ will lose you some subjective volume. I like the way the multitrack as a whole blends quite a lot, and only the cello sounds a bit dislocated -- I'd give that a bit of ambience reverb to tuck that in. The instrument sounds in general seem pretty find to me too, although the snare feels maybe a bit aggressive again in the HF region. It doesn't really need to be upfront like a pop snare in music like this -- I think it can be quite rounded and simply supportive. |
