Wesley Morgan - Backroom in Tulsa - Vosk0z - 16-09-2014 Hey! Here's my take on this nice song. Please, comment and lemme know what you think Cheers! RE: Wesley Morgan - Backroom in Tulsa - Obelix - 16-09-2014 Good sound there. In the begining of the song it would be better to place that guitar in center and if you had just a touch of reverb on it . I think that your mix lacks ambiance. It would sound better if you put a bit of reverb on drums and some slap delay on vocal. RE: Wesley Morgan - Backroom in Tulsa - Vosk0z - 17-09-2014 Hey Obelix, thnx for your thoughts. Same day, had a second listener coming over, his contribution was that the bass was a bit too much. So.. Kinda balanced these things accordingly (Drums/bass), and i added a bit of a phone-voice in the beginning, for the fun of it Really not sure if this song has THE ambient capacity to treat it so.. i did think though to use the 2nd vocals but .. meh.. my taste wouldnt tolerate that.. So.. take 2 Again, lemme know what ya think Cheers RE: Wesley Morgan - Backroom in Tulsa - Obelix - 02-02-2015 [quote='Vosk0z' pid='22667' dateline='1410912751'] Hey Obelix, thnx for your thoughts. All in all good work. |
