mix revision - vinniezero - 27-07-2014 here we are. i revised my mix. thanks again for your feedback! V. RE: mix revision - grizwalter - 28-07-2014 Hey Vinnie. I have to say the vocal track is standing way too far out in front; either it is eq'd to brightly or the volume is just too high, or both. Definitely threw me out of the mix right away. In fact, I found I couldn't really focus on the other elements due to the loudness/harshness of the vocal. I hate being the bearer of such commentary/feedback, but you should take a listen again and adjust that. Of course, I'd like to know if it is just me, or if others have similar comments. RE: mix revision - vinniezero - 28-07-2014 true that. thanks. RE: mix revision - Amphibian - 28-07-2014 - Vocals are a bit harsh/agressive, yes. I don't think they're too loud though. If you tame them, you'll get a really good level I think. - Bottom end is missing a bit. I'm missing a good solid kick for instance. - Guitar solo disappears in the mix. + Panning is really good. + Loving the choice of reverb. + Good glue. 2-bus compression is really good. Good dynamics. |
