Set phasers to stun...? - pauli - 30-06-2014

Am I crazy? The steel string acoustic parts sound like there's some kind of serious comb filtering issue... almost sounds like an out of phase stereo capture that was collapsed to mono? It's notably absent on the vinyl guitar recording...

At any rate, it's frustrating the hell out of me and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to sort this out... I tried notching out the resonances (really bad around 600 and 2300) and playing with the phase on one of the side channels... but I can't get that "zoing zoing zoing" sound to go away.

I'm almost wondering if it's a flutter echo?
