Black Out Betty - Sasha - 06-11-2012 this is my version of mix RE: Black Out Betty - Mike Senior - 14-11-2012 The bass feels bloated in the 100Hz-150Hz region particularlu, and I'm getting a big difference between the subjective level of the instrument when switching between the main monitors and my Avantone. If you can control this region a bit better, I reckon the balance will make more sense on more different playback systems. I quite like the heavy compression of the rap as an artistic effect, but I'd take out some low midrange there, as well as some extreme HF -- at the moment it sounds so smile-curvey that it's making everything else sound muffled and small. It's probably a bit too loud into the bargain. |
