On The Line by timothys_monster - timothys_monster - 15-03-2014 Hey guys, I'm new here and enjoying "Mixing Secrets" at the moment, so I thought I could give it a try and upload my "first release". Though Mike recommend trying to use no send effects at all, I focused on the use of reverbs at this track. Especially because I wanted the very close-miked mandolins and guitar to fit better into the background. And because I purchased my first reverb plugin (EAReverb). I also concentrated on not compressing too much, because I really liked the wide dynamic spectrum. Do you think it sounds unbalanced because of the missing loudness? And what about the depth of the mix? RE: On The Line by timothys_monster - timothys_monster - 23-03-2014 Anyone? |
