Produ140 mix - produ140 - 24-09-2012 I'm new to this forum but I like this song And here's my mix RE: Produ140 mix - Mike Senior - 14-11-2012 I like the piano sound here, although the guitars sound rather DI'd and too far upfront, which is less appealing. The vocal sits in a nice place, although its naturally slightly nasal edge does feel a bit overstated by whatever processing you've applied. You probably want to de-ess the lead a bit more too. I'd probably try to bring out the midrange of the bass more. It's getting a bit lost on the small speakers, and the mix could probably do with a bit more guts there too, in my view. Love the slide guitar. Is the double-tracked female lead intentional? If so it's a bold move, because it sounds a bit distracting to me, given the comparatively straight-ahead acoustic/country style. RE: Produ140 mix - produ140 - 14-11-2012 Thanks for your comment I will keep this in mind everything you said I know it's pretty remarkable that I am a learner and thanks again for your point of view |
