Candlebox: 'Surrendering' - Lethan - 07-03-2020

Hi guys,
Here is a mix of this track.
Truly speaking not an easy one. To me vocal nad Oh were troublesome.
Let me know what do you think. Not too much mid-high frequency?
Cheers

Edit:
I am dropping ver3. Its just mastering, only experimenting, and all done on "ears". If anybody could take a listen and compare to previously would be great.

Hi!

Yeah - I think for me this is a touch mid forward perhaps? I struggled to get the right tone with this. My initial mix was quite dark when I did some comparisons, so I'm probably not the best person to offer advice with that. Maybe A/B'ing with the Telefunken mix, or some of their album tracks might help you there though? The vocal delay is not really to my taste, but saying that I think it would work ok if it was tucked in a bit more so it it is 'just there'. Not sure if the vocal is maybe a touch forward as well? Not by much though. OH tracks in your mix don't jump out at me as being problematic to honest. I think the balances are generally ok otherwise though. Sorry, not sure I've been of much help!

Cheers!
