kept my synths virtually dry and minimal...abit of reverb on the drums.

i didn't use any of the other musiks that came with the download.

wanted to create a feeling of depression going along with his vox.
simplicity was best for his vocal and lyrics...

not sure if i used all of the vox either, as this was done a while ago.

Great track this is so industrial, I love that music, NIN, Ministry etc. Great job. Do you tune the vocals to the scale of the song you create? Or you create the music without regard for the original scale of the song?

thanks.
i never listen to a complete mix of anything i work on before i'm finished mine, coz i don't want outside influences.
i just go by what the is isolated lead vocal tells me.

every track i do is actually in key with the vocal... i don't generally change vocal keys.

though i like to use different inversions of chords, so that stuff doesn't always sound so 'pop-normal' as some of the other kids
.....coz there's more to musik than 1, 3, 5 pattern.
(though this one is more on the pop side, i suppose)
