Digital Humans: 'Electrvm' remixed - eggshell - 14-02-2020 Oh fun fun track to mix! I tried to be louder then usual. I might have push it too much till the first breakdown's vocal sounded larger then the rest of the song. I don't know how to go about deal with this properly. but I had to automate the gain into the limiter. Still lack the dynamic I think. I had some trouble getting the vocal to sound cleaner, I think I might have push it too much, but I didn't have much coloured process in the vocal chain, perhaps the Acme Opticon XLA-3? Comments are welcome! I would love to hear and learn from you. RE: Digital Humans: 'Electrvm' remixed - F_U - 15-02-2020 Like the approach. It sounds like the voice is a bit crushed, but otherwise cool. RE: Digital Humans: 'Electrvm' remixed - mike84 - 13-03-2020 Your mix is overcompressed in my opinion. He need more breath. |
